indie Semiconductor: Robot And Quantum Bonus

Image
Update - Oct. 14, 2025 The stock is surging on more news of working on quantum computers, though indie Semi. hasn't announced anything material revenue related. The stock has soared to new highs regardless.  Original article posted on Aug. 13  indie Semiconductor is entering a major ADAS ramp, with a $7.1B backlog and a goal of $800M sales by 2028. The auto tech company is reporting stable financials, with manageable losses and a strong cash position, giving time for product ramps to materialize. indie Semiconductor is expanding into humanoid robots and quantum communications, adding exciting optionality beyond core auto tech, with real orders already secured. At just 3x conservative 2026 sales estimates, the stock remains ultra cheap with substantial upside as ADAS ramps and new markets develop. indie Semiconductor, Inc.  ( NASDAQ: INDI ) has had a painful year until recently. The auto tech company has a massive backlog with promising ADAS orders while quick expansions i...

indie Semiconductor: Irrational Dip

indie Semiconductor sold off despite strong quarterly earnings, leaving the stock stuck below $10. The company forecasts maintaining 100% growth, yet the stock still appears in the penalty box due to the SPAC transaction. The stock trades at only 4x forward sales, which is similar to slow growth mega-cap semiconductor stocks. indie Semiconductor  ( NASDAQ: INDI ) had a bizarre sell-off following another great quarterly earnings report. The Autotech semiconductor company continues growing revenues at a 100% clip, but the stock remains stuck below $10. My  investment thesis  remains ultra Bullish  on indie now trading at only $7.50 following the post Q2 selloff. Read the full article on Seeking Alpha.  Disclosure: No position mentioned. Update May 25, 2023   The Wells Fargo analyst sounds really bullish, but the price target only offers 25% upside. The better bet is Luminar Tech. ( LAZR )  at these prices. -Mobileye (NASDAQ:MBLY) shares rose more than 4% in pre-market trading on Thursday as Wells Fargo started coverage on the autonomous driving semiconductor company with an overweight rating. -Analyst Aaron Rakers, who also put a per-share price target of $50 on Mobileye (MBLY), noted that the company is ...

Qualcomm: New Era

Qualcomm hosted an Auto Investor Day on September 22 to highlight the booming business in the auto sector. The wireless chip company enters a new era with business quickly shifting into the Autotech sector with a design-win pipeline surging to $30 billion. The stock shouldn't trade at only 9x EPS FY23 targets. This idea was discussed in more depth with members of my private investing community, Out Fox The Street.  Learn More »   Only a few years ago,  Qualcomm  ( NASDAQ: QCOM ) didn't have much of a business beyond smartphones. Now, the wireless chip giant hosted an  Auto Investor Day  due to surging demand and a growing order  book. My  investment thesis  is ultra-Bullish on the stock due to the cheap valuation on the dip to $120 and the growth opportunities outside of handsets. Ambarella: Not Ready To Roll, Just Yet

Ambarella cut guidance for current quarter revenues by a sizable amount due to supply chain issues. The chip company continues to have a large order book in the auto tech sector. The stock isn't exceptionally cheap at 7x FY24 sales, but the auto tech market potential makes Ambarella a buy. This idea was discussed in more depth with members of my private investing community, Out Fox The Street.  Learn More » While  Ambarella  ( NASDAQ: AMBA ) was ready to roll last quarter, the Chinese covid lockdowns further dented supplies and demand. The computer vision company still has a massive auto order book warranting investor interest as the  stock dips. My  investment thesis  remains Bullish on the stock, but the summer months will remain rocky due to supply chain issues and extended auto tech orders.
