Interesting infographic off all the products that Google (GOOG) has killed over the years. The company continues to build product after product yet search is the only real money maker. The Android operating system is clearly successful, but it still isn't a cash cow like search.

  Update - Mar. 27, 2023 Ouster missed a great opportunity to promote the combined business of Velodyne Lidar and Ouster and the company decided to pass. The stock trades below $1 for this reason and management has to own this incompetence.  -Q4 GAAP EPS of -$0.23 misses by $0.03. -Revenue of $10.94M (-7.7% Y/Y) misses by $4.9M. -Secured company record $70 million in bookings in 2022 - Q1'23 revenue guidance of $15 to $17 million, excludes Velodyne revenues through merger close on Feb. 10. The Q4 revenue total was closer to $25 million and the Q1'23 pro-forma revenue total was probably closer to $21 million.   Update - Mar. 15, 2023 Pretty nice deal here with 100 Lidar sensors shipped at the end of '22. Carnival: Positive Trajectory

  Carnival reported FQ2'22 results showing a positive trajectory in the business, though far from perfect. The cruise line indicated strong booking trends for 2023 as consumers are able to plan for trips without worries of travel restrictions. The stock is cheap at $10 with normalized earnings at $3 per share, as debt is repaid and interest expenses are cut. This idea was discussed in more depth with members of my private investing community, Out Fox The Street.  Learn More »   In no huge surprise,  Carnival Corp.  ( NYSE: CCL ) reported a quarter of  improving results . The largest cruise line didn't report a perfect quarter, but the company and the sector continues to head back  to more normal times in the travel and leisure sector. My  investment thesis  is very Bullish on the stock after the dip back towards the COVID lows, which was ill-timed considering the dynamics of the business are far improved now. C3.ai: Trough Quarter

Update - Apr. 4, 2023 The short attack is here with Kerrisdale Capital attacking the accounting of C3.ai right after the stock soars into the quarter end. The stock already wasn't as appealing back above $30. The accounting questions appear a stretch, but the company has regularly replaced the CFO in the last 4 years.  C3.ai ( NYSE: AI )  fell 12%  after Kerrisdale Capital, which released a  short report  on the company last month, wrote a letter to the company's auditor outlining its concerns. Kerrisdale, run by Sahm Adrangi, sent  a letter  to Deloitte & Touche, highlighting its concerns with alleged accounting  issues at C3.Ai . Update - Apr. 2, 2023 C3.ai had a huge rally to end March likely due to fund managers piling into the stock to report a position at quarter end. The move appears silly but the stock is officially in breakout mode above $30 here.
